Angie Martinez leaves Hot 97 to join Power 105.1!

Change is good!

Angie Martinez has been the icon and prized jewel of Hot 97 for over 15 years. As of yesterday, Ms. Martinez has announced her departure from the radio station and introduced her new venture at Power 105 as an afternoon host.

It is a shock to most, but a happy one because even though she is leaving her longtime home, she is still going to be the "Voice of New York City".

Congrats to Angie and definitely congrats to Power 105! Having The Breakfast Club in the AM and Angie in the PM is gonna be monstrous!
